Meet our 2017 New Board Members


John Davis Bluegrass Fellowship

John Davis - Minister of Evangelism & Discipleship at Tates Creek Christian Church

John currently serves as the Minister of Evangelism and Discipleship at Tates Creek Christian Church. He and his wife Jennifer have been married for ten years and they have two children: Owen and Jordyn. John has a Business Management degree from UK and a Masters in Theology from Cincinnati Bible Seminary. John is especially concerned with helping to increase Bible literacy in churches as well as seeing churches built on the preaching and teaching of God’s word.

 

Fred Waggoner - Reverb Network, Indiana Wesleyan University & Broadway Christian Church

Fred Waggoner is a retired military officer with more than 40 years of leadership experience. He has a Bachelor’s degree in Economics from Morehead State University, and Master’s degrees in Organizational Leadership from Regent University and in National Security Strategy from the National War College.

Since retiring from the military, he has served as an adjunct faculty member for Indiana Wesleyan University, teaching courses in leadership, management, and organizational development and as a Regional Representative for the Lead Like Jesus organization.

Currently, he serves as the Secretary and Administrative Officer for Reverb Network, a non-profit organization that provides leadership training, consulting, and coaching services, to faith-based organizations.

He is a member of the Broadway Christian Church, where he serves as a Deacon, Sunday school teacher, and as a member of the global and local outreach ministry team.Fred and his wife Michelle reside in Lexington, Kentucky. They have one son, Andrew, a daughter-in-law, Christina, and three grandchildren, Olivia, Elijah, and Alexander.

I am excited about the vision and mission of the Bluegrass Christian Fellowship to grow and build God’s kingdom by planting churches and I look forward to working with our board and the leaders of our churches to help achieve this vision.

 

Bruce Robertson, International Church Planting

Bruce grew up in Pennsylvania and Illinois and is a graduate of the University of Illinois. His work in auditing, tax and consulting took him to Illinois, Colorado, Europe, New York and Pennsylvania. He has also worked in the hotel industry, computer manufacture and coal mining. He currently serves as a professor for management and accounting courses.

While in England, Bruce planted churches and offered encouragement as well as leadership and training courses. His passion is to develop leaders.
